US Virgin Island
Amenity highlights: All meals are served á la carte from menus offering many choices. Selections range from pub grub to foie gras, with lobster preparations available at both ends of the spectrum. The resort's 16.25-m (53-ft) catamaran provides swimming-and-snorkeling day sails to St. John and sunset cocktail cruises (complimentary under All-Inclusive plan with minimum seven-night stay). A crescent beach extends 300 m (328 yd) along the secluded bay. Non-motorized water-sports equipment is complimentary. A dive shop offers scuba/snorkeling trips for surcharges.
Bolongo Bay Beach Resort offers 65 guestrooms in two- and three-story buildings (no elevators) arrayed along the beach and bordered by tall, dense tropical foliage. Balconies and ground-floor terraces furnish close-up views of Bolongo Bay. Rooms include ceiling fans, louvered doors/windows, and air conditioners. Kitchenettes with sinks, compact refrigerators, and table settings permit limited food preparation. Bathrooms contain stall showers (no tubs).
Yellow accent walls, floral bedspreads, and fresh flowers contribute color to the white rooms. Rattan furniture adds to the casual tropical ambience. Smoking is not permitted inside rooms.
